A business invitation to Russia may be issued by: the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) or its regional representatives; the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS)or its local offices; an authorized Russian company (this type of invitation can only be used by EU, US and Japan passport holders)
We suggest that you contact your local Russian consulate and make sure that an electronic copy of the invitation would be sufficient. The original is available upon request (you can order it to be delivered when make an online application). It will be sent via DHL to the address you will have indicated.
Please note that a multiple entry visa is only available for people who have been issued a Russian visa before. A copy of your previous visa should be enclosed to your new application. If this visa was processed before 2013, we strongly recommend that you should contact your local Russian consulate and make sure that a multiple entry visa would still be available.
As per the governmental agreement between Russia, several European countries*, the US and Japan passport holders are eligible to obtain a business visa using an invitation issued on a registered Russian company letterhead. An official invitation processed via FMS or MFA is no longer complusory for a business visa processing.

This type of invitation is required for nationals of the countries that did not sign an agreement with Russia on the simplification of the visa regulations. We especially recommend it for citizens of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and non-European or North American countries.
The citizens of developing countries require a business invitation processed by Russian Federal Migration Service.
Business invitations for the citizens of People's Republic of China and Vietnam are processed in accordance with special regulations imposed by Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Russian visa support is provided according to the requirements of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 115. The service cost includes all the required official fees needed for the processing the visa support at the local office of the FMS or MFA by a Russian legal entity.

Please note that we need a passport copy to process business visa support. If support is requested for an accompanying family member, then in addition to the passport copy we need a copy of the birth certificate for minor children and/or a copy of a marriage license for an accompanying spouse.
IMPORTANT: The copy of the passport should be the same size as the actual passport and all the data should be clearly visible!
The Russian Authorities will not be accepting unclear, dark or blurred passport copies or these of a different size than the actual passport. IMPORTANT: Please note that FAXED and HANDWRITTEN passport copies are NOT acceptable for this invitation type. We will need a full color scan in order to process your application. A scan must be a JPEG file 250-300KB in size. The image should be closely cropped with no white space around it. If you are unable to size the scan according to the above requirements, we will be happy to do it for you. We will attempt to do so immediately in order not to delay your application processing. However, depending on the volume of work, we may be unable to resize your document in time to submit it to the authorities right away and it may result in one day delay in processing. If you are able to size and crop the document yourself we would appreciate your doing so.
