Commercial/Business/Business Invitations:
A business visa is required to enter Russia for business purposes. The inviting party must be a partner (legal entity in the Russian Federation) of the applicant on the basis of contracts and other documents confirming the business relationship between the two parties - the Applicant and the Inviting Party.
The invitation is issued on the basis of the submitted application and a package of documents by the Federal Migration Service of Russia (for commercial organizations) or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (for state organizations).
There are the following types of business invitations/visas:
* for single entry (stay up to 90 days);
* for double entry (stay up to 90 days in total);
* for multiple entry (stay for 1 year 180 days = 90+90 days).
The term for consideration of an application for a business invitation is from 16 to 22 calendar days from the date of payment and submission of documents.
In addition to the package of documents for consideration, it is necessary to provide a paid accommodation reservation, medical insurance, a voucher for transfer services (meeting and seeing off).
To obtain a business visa, you must provide an original invitation to the Russian consulate in the country of receipt.
At the request of the Consulate of the Russian Federation issuing a visa to Russia, you must provide a letter of invitation from a business partner (Russian legal entity).
